VENUEVERITAS

Crypto Trading Venue Intelligence

Independent public intelligence and continuous monitoring for crypto trading venues.

Platform principles

These rules govern the public record. They are not a ranking and not a recommendation.

  • Evidence first

Published statements must rest on recorded evidence. Claims without a source stay unpublished.

  • Continuous monitoring

The product is a monitoring record, not a one-time review. Change is expected and must be dated.

  • Primary sources

Official registers, operator disclosures and original incident records outrank secondary commentary.

  • Changes are timestamped

When a recorded fact changes, the change time stays visible. Stale records are not treated as current.

  • Unknown remains unknown

Missing evidence is shown as missing. Gaps are not filled with estimates, rankings or invented facts.

  • Ratings are not for sale

Research conclusions cannot be purchased. Commercial relationships, if any exist later, stay separate from the record.

Areas we will monitor

Category names only. No venue list, counts, scores or incidents are published yet.

  • Centralized exchanges

Custodial trading venues that operate order books and hold user assets.

  • Decentralized trading venues

Non-custodial or protocol-based venues used to trade digital assets.

  • Perpetual markets

Venues and markets that offer perpetual or other leveraged derivative products.

  • Regulatory footprint

Licences, registrations, supervisory notices and other public regulatory records.

  • Proof of reserves

Public reserve, liability and attestation disclosures, when they exist.

  • Security incidents

Publicly recorded hacks, exploits, pauses and related operational events.

  • Operational reliability

Availability, withdrawals, market pauses and other operational continuity signals.

  • Market transparency

Public information about markets, fees, products and how trading is disclosed.

Methodology and evidence

The public file describes what is recorded. It does not certify safety.

VenueVeritas will separate source references from verification status. A cited document is not automatically a confirmed fact. Research Confidence, when introduced, will describe evidence coverage — not whether a venue is safe.
