Standing rules

These labels describe the record. They are not a safety score.

Research Confidence describes evidence coverage. It does not mean an operator is safe.
Verified means a specific source check succeeded. It is not a general endorsement.
Unknown remains unknown. Missing evidence is not filled in.
Check times and change times belong to the records they describe.
Commercial relationships cannot buy a research conclusion.
VenueVeritas does not recommend a venue or tell a reader to trade.

These fields describe a source file. They are not a completed dataset.

Regulators: Named supervisory bodies attached to a specific record.
Legal entities: Named companies or other legal persons on the file.
Licences and registrations: Cited permissions or registrations, limited to the named entity.
Regulator sources: Register pages, notices and other official supervisory documents.
Operator sources: Disclosures published by the operator or its named entities.
Protection sources: Documents cited for custody, insurance, reserves or similar claims.
Source URL: The locator used for a check attempt, when one exists.
Last checked: When a check attempt was made. Not a claim that the fact is still true.
Verified at: When a check succeeded. Not a standing endorsement.
Verification status: Whether the last check succeeded, failed, or is no longer current.

Status describes the check, not the operator.

Verified: The cited source matched the published claim at the recorded time.
Unverified: No successful check is on file for that claim.
Stale: A previous check is no longer treated as current.

Official registers and original disclosures outrank secondary articles.

A secondary summary can point to a source. It does not replace it.

News, social posts and unaudited commentary are not treated as primary evidence.

They may be cited as the existence of a public report, not as confirmation of its contents.
